Teaching you, to teach your dog basic training skills needed for
everyday life and setting the foundations for any further training.
Educating your dog is part of responsible dog ownership.
This course is the next step up for those that have
completed the puppy course, but it is also open to any dog over the age of 5
months that has not attended any of our classes before.
We will cover include Sit, Down, Stay,
Recall, Loose lead walking, Leave, targeting and more.
With verbal & visual signals.
After completion there is a chance to move onto the
Improvers Course & the Tricks & Games Course.
Please bring your dog's vaccination certificate, a toy (no squeaky toys, a
tug rope is ideal), small tasty appropriate treats and a blanket or mat for your
dog to lie on.
We DO NOT accept slip-leads, choke chains, prong/electric collar
devices or any other dangerous and potentially harmful equipment. Your dog
should have a flat collar and lead with an ID tag attached and be micro-chipped. We do welcome and
support the use of harnesses, please ask us at classes which types we
would recommend.
Classes are on Monday evenings at Sipson Community Centre, Sipson Way, Middx, UB7 0DD
The Beginners Course is 6 weeks in length, with each
class lasting between 50 minutes to 1 hour. Cost - £72
